Your Life Is What You Make It

Most often we center our attention on events and circumstances which implies that we are more concerned with what life might have been rather than looking ahead to the future. Though, much of our past experience can be of great benefits to us, but we could achieve more and reach a greater satisfaction than waiting for opportunities that turns out to be a mirage. Imagine yourself driving forward and looking backwards, it can only lead to a devastating end.

Life is like a series of events taking place moment to moment in a spiral of activities. If we participate in the process selflessly, we tend to go upwards and onwards to a more meaningful life bringing about inwards progress and development. If we merely stand by the wayside watching the panorama of events passing us by, we tend to get nowhere. This wheel of events continues to characterize our lives.

Life's adventures are for those that will step out of the crowd and join the few endeavouring to attain the satisfying and more rewarding life. There's no shortcut to success. Yet thousands will pass from one thing to another in search of answers to their never-ending quest.

The truth of life lies within ourselves and the way to a greater life accomplishment is not obscure, difficult or hidden from us. All we need do is turn our attention to self and heart through meditation and the understanding we seek gradually unfolds. The inner being reveals and never lies.

We need to be aware of such changes and adapt or cooperate to reap bountifully from the benefits it brings with utmost discipline.

We need to direct our minds with utmost discipline into channels of useful service and constructive work if our future is to be one formed of our creative making rather than one brought about by reason of our thoughtless acts and reactions to life circumstances.
