About MoneroV fork
On 14th March 2018 (block 1529810) XMR holders receive XMV - 1 XMR : 10 XMV. XMV promises lower fees, capped supply and end of botnet abuse. There are privacy risks to this fork. From altcointrading.net.
MoneroV Main Points:
- Capped coin supply.
- End to the abuse by most botnets and spam-houses to mine in unethical ways that prevents legitimate miners to compete.
- Low transaction fees.
- Blockchain that scales.
- Full-time development team.
- MimbleWimble integration.
Opinions on XMV
- r/monero concludes XMV is an attack on privacy of the XMR chain.
- bitcoinsforum.net says MoneroV is a trojan horse among crypto hard forks.
- digitalcurrencygrid says MoneroV is blatantly a scam made to enrich its creators
- coinfoundry.org agrees there is a privacy damage but on the other hand XMV is just another fork that will deserve attention in due time

STOPI'm not disputing anything written here legaltender but this is obviously extremely one sided and you certainly did not even attempt at looking at making any counterpoints. Again I do not have a dog in this fight but this seems to be just a dig at the fork. $XMV might be a total scam etc but the price action on Monero alone suggests there are also a lot of believers in this project.
