How to detect scam airdrop ?
Trust airdrop has:
- Official twitter
- Official website
- Bitcointalk thread (optional)
- Contract address if it's an erc20 token
- Never will ask you to follow another product than itself !
You need to check the airdrop's source:
Who did post the airdrop ?
Is it the official product ?
It's very easy to check on twitter !
Be careful with tasks they ask you to do:
When an airdrop asks you to follow a telegram airdrop not linking with the airdrop product it's very suspicious !
You need to check the official website (or official twitter) and the most often found the airdrop's link !
You can check if the airdrop shows the contract address (etherscan.io) and watch if the erc20 token really exist !
To resume:
- Check the airdrop's source !
- Check the website if it exists !
- Be careful if the airdrop asks you to join a telegram airdrop !
- Check if the erc20 token really exists on etherscan.io
