A telegram alternative?
Does the world really need that?

XPrivate chat thinks we do, and while they do offer the blockchain twist with it, I have my doubts about them taking the lead of this market anytime in the future. Can it happen? sure, but I think it's unlikely.

What is unique about XPrivate?

• Doesn't have to be linked to a phone number. 📵 this is seriously a game changer feature in the private messengers realm and if this thing has a chance to reach the top - this is one of the major reasons for it.
• Privacy tech is top notch. 🔏
• Some well known advisors onboard.🤵
• Revolutionary and disruptive in that it's bringing the blockchain to messengers. 👌

Why won't #telegram compete with any ingenious functionality Xprivate will offer? they will, and probably do it better and with a more catchy name. yeah, not a fan of the name for this project, sorry.

Then again, the "not linking your #phone number to use the chat" is an awesome advantage against apps like telegram, I wonder if telegram will ever have this option too.

I can see how in a few years those private messengers would become even more popular, and the ability to transfer money privately within them would be an awesome and much needed feature. #XPrivate also plan to offer a credit card style of payments for users willing to undergo KYC verification.
Maybe XPrivate will market strongly and gain a decent market share, but I don't see it becoming number #1 kind of like, ever. But! growing their app to be in the top10 messenger apps is not a bad deal either, there are literally billions of potential customers in this market.
And I could be wrong, it might revolutionize the messengers world and steal the crown, let's see 🕵.

In my opinion it does, and I wouldn't bother to promote it otherwise,
who knows where this project may go in a couple of years,
and it certainly won't hurt hodling some free #XPC$.

Will I invest in their IEO?

---

Maybe, still thinking about it. although their offer is somewhat tempting and the first round discount is very significant, I'm still looking for even a stronger conviction to join this one. I do really love the anonymity features XPrivate offers, this could very well be a game changer in the scene.

For some reason, I'm not yet fully convinced enough to invest in it. There is a good potential, some well known advisors on the team, The airdrop is piece of cake to join in, but a prosperous future? Nobody knows. I wish them nothing but the best, of course.

For a 5 minute investment this airdrop is for sure worth joining in,
imo.
