THE YOUNG SHALL GROW OLD AND DIE

Sometimes young people believe that the elderly live in despair, with one foot in the grave, abandoned in a corner and unwilling to continue on this side of life.
In some cases they believe the desperation of some elderly ones is reflected by the simple fact of having reached an advanced age and the consequences is almost as dire as anything imaginable.

As much as we can not get rid of the atavistic fear of death, I am shocked that the young people see the elderly people in the anteroom of that door who - they think - it is better to cross as soon as possible so as not to continue living as a useless piece of furniture.

Perhaps they do lack some sense in the vision that both the young and the old both advance in age and soon will have no encouragement to continue living.

In most countries, the respect the young give to the old is unimaginable,they listen to their advice and their experience is honored. In the West we consider them old and finished, we only feel compassion for their loneliness till the last goodbye. Something of which we should take good note, even if only as a precaution for when it will be our turn to be in their situation; after all, death awaits us all around the corner.

I am saddened by the way in which many young people have turned their backs on the truth, yielding to those digital temptations and believing in `FOREVER YOUNG ".
I know that today we are looking for immediate results, advantages, all that deprives us of the pleasures that satisfies a long-desired life.

There is a lot in this writing and it is difficult to convey without experience. My mother gave me this advice, while my father never ceased to make it a reminder,and this will pass down to my children and their children before them. That no matter how young they are, They must grow old and die someday..
So they can understand that death is inevitable and in age magic does not exist.
