Air-clinic writing contest 15-poverty the elder cousin of disease

Mr and Mrs John have been married for seven years,with four lovely children ,gift ,James ,lucky and Ruth. The family have being doing well until Mr John was sacked in his place of work, he had no savings ,his children had to drop out from school and his wife had no business of her own.

Mama gift laughed hard knowing very well it was hunger but there was nothing she could do, there was no food, she had learn no trade,their children have not been to school to have hope for the future and her husband was unemployed , having all this thought,she immediately stopped laughing and was in a very bad state.

Their state of poverty has made them settled In an area not well ventilated and not good for life but they needed to survive and their pursue for survival has caused several illness on them, malnutrition and under nutrition was one of the causes.

Papa, gift and lucky are coughing out blood Ruth called out. This is unbelievable ,Mr John silently said. He is an hypertensive patient but he had secretly kept this from the family, he tried to manage the high pressure building up from hearing the news. He had no money to pay bill in the hospital, he hadn't got drug to even manage his state. He ran out for help and the children were taken to the hospital. They are suffering from bronchopneumonia and tuberculosis the doctor told him . He sat back on the chair and that was the end for him.

Possible solution to poverty from the above story . If Mr John would have had some savings during his working years ,things wouldn't have been this bad , mrs John on the other side learnt no trade to which she could help herself with. She felt comfortable in the husband's wealth.
To the government : provision of employment , cutting off strict procedure to start enterprise , collection of low revenue
The children : if only they completed their study there would have being a vision and career for them to pursue.
