AIR-CLINIC WRITING CONTEST: MY COUGH-COUGH-COUGH EXPERIENCE

Firstly I want to say a big thank you to @air-clinic for this great opportunity.

Two years ago I had a terrible cough experience which I can't forget so easily. I was coming back from church on a evening and it started raining on my way home, I had to take a shield on a abandoned kiosk on the road. The road was lonely with few vehicles passing so I wasn't able to see a means of transport home cos the few vehicles passing by were not a public means of transportation and refused to stop when I waved at them. By the time I saw a vehicle it was already late, about two hours later. I got home around 8pm that day, the following day I started having signs of cough didn't take it serious thinking it will subside but as time goes on it was increasing terribly. It was that terrible that anytime I want to cough out my chest hurts me so much and there were traces of blood seen in what I cough out. I visited a pharmacy store close to me and upon several drug administration the cough just subside a little but later on comes back more intensely.

I'm this person that normally don't love visiting the hospitals but I was force to do so. On reaching the hospital the doctor performed some test on me and it was discovered I have chesty cough, drugs was administered to me which I use together with a home made herbal supplement which was a mixture of honey and lime that is use for treatment of cough

After a week I was able to recover fully. The cough-cough-cough experience is something that I won't forget and I don't hope to experience again. I will like to advise everyone to take care of any cough symptoms even though it looks little. Some people have lost their life through neglect of terrible cough.
