STORY
Ebuka was in jss1 so was I and Samuel, we were the best click then in secondary school before he left third term due to his future inability to cope under his condition.

It is was a Friday evening if I can recall. Me, Ebuka and Sam playing football in the school feed, all playing for a specific side during the break hour and in this process Ebuka got fowled by an opponent of ours, he couldn't stand up as we rush to check up what's happening, “ouch” I shouted Ebuka has broken his leg we quickly carried him to the principal office and narrate the story to him, he tried to help stretch it but the cry and scream of Ebuka won't allow him. So he got a cab for us then me and Sam got Ebuka inside and rush him home.

Few day later almost all the entire class went to check up on him to know how is doing but he couldn't walk yet and he was having fever as told by his mum. We prayed and left to our respective homes.

The next day we brought the news to class teacher who instructed us to go visit Ebuka and he said he will go and check on him himself after school hours. When he got there he found that the situation was not getting better and asked the mother to take him to the hospital, she said she had no money for that as a widow who sell food at the junction to take care of her children. Our teacher gave her his family card as they took Ebuka to the community hospital for treatment. After some hours the Doctor came out to give them feed back on Ebuka condition and he dropped the bad news *“Ma we are sorry the only way your son can make it is if he is **amputated**, because he has been infected from the injury”.* ![images (2).jpeg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSELWpv2htewJ7SrVzQHXpnrKBPBY2boDSSd4DfFmgTsj/images%20(2).jpeg) [image]()

I cried when I heard the story and so did some of us in our class. Ebuka was amputated from his left knee and after some weeks the next news was that ebuka is currently in the village with his mum and that was the end till date.
