My entry for Air-Climic writing contest(week6) :AIDS IS REAL, IT KILLS

Emeka was a neighbour of ours. He was an energetic young man and full of age.
The first son of the family and for this reason so much responsibility was upon him.
Emeka was the kind of guy every girl would wants to date, he had a very perfect physique, he stood 1.9m tall, dark skin clean teeth,good smiles.
He was a final year medical student the hope of his poor parent,he was very intelligent and always scaling through all his professional exams.
He was a very nice guy ,always playing with the children in the in the neighbourhood.
But with all these fantastic qualities , Emeka had this peculiar weakness as regarding the opposite sex ,he could not just restrain himself from anything on skirt.
Several persons caution him about this lifestyle but all the advice fell on deaf ears.He would usually reply that he is a medical student, he can take care of himself.
He kept on living the "big boys" life.
Then came this gradual change in him, he was getting weaker ,his health was getting worse .
He was advised by a number of persons to go for check up of which he initially refused until a point when his health was not getting any better.
He opted to go for treatment and to the shock of everyone he was diagnose to be HIV positive .
He slumped on hearing that and was rush to the emergency were he was resuscitated .
After recovery he never remained the same because he knew the consequences of what he has dished himself into.
He was not keeping up with his antiviral drugs and this led to the progression of the HIV to AIDS and of course died three years after finishing medical school.
A destiny was doomed, a family's hope was dashed,tears came flowing at his burial,words of mouth was not enough to console the mum.
After seeing all that happened i was totally convince that indeed HIV is real and it kills indeed.
