Good day people of steemit. This story am going to give is not from me but from my mum when she was like 7 years old. My mum has a younger brother,Who was like 1 year old then. My mum was told to baby sit him. She was with him and playing with him. They were having a good time, but suddenly, he started having a sudden violent irregular movement of the body. But being so young, she saw it as a joke. To her it was funny. She was clapping for him. And telling him to keep doing it. And he was doing it because he had no control over it. And she was laughing so hard. To her he was being funny. While she was laughing so hard their neighbor, heard her and was curious to know what was amusing her. He went inside the house and saw my uncle( because obviously he is my mum's brother. )shaking. Then he shouted that this child is having convulsions. He Rolled him on his o side to prevent choking on any fluids or vomit. He Cushion his head, Loosen his clothing around the neck. He kept his airways open. He gripped his jaw gently and tilt his head back.He restricted him from moving unless he is in danger. He didn't put anything into his mouth, not even medicine or liquid. These can cause choking or damage to his jaw, tongue, or teeth. He Removed any sharp or solid objects that he might hit during the seizure. He Stayed with him until the seizure ended.
