Abuse of drugs/the destiny killer.... "Air-clinic"

Introduction
Some people have a misconception. When you say "drug abuse" they think you mean the habitual raking of hard drugs but I'm here to correct that notion...
Drug abuse is the habitual taking of any drug whether hard or not. Using it wrongly when the doctor hasn't prescribed it.
You can abuse a drug such as paracetamol. Oh yes you can....

Has your doctor prescribed it? Are you even taking the right dosage? Do you really need the drug?
If your answers to these are not in the affirmative.. Then you're probably on the verge of abusing a drug..

In more formal terms... What is drug abuse?
Drug abuse is an extreme desire to obtain, and use, increasing amounts of one or more substances. It is a generic term for the abuse of any chemical substance including cigarettes, inhalants, alcohol and others..

In short, any drug that can be used can also be a drug of abuse.

Main story
Here's the story of a group of friends in the university. As usual, they had so much energy and were ready to experiment and try out different things. ..
So much youthful exuberance if you ask me....

They were into all sorts... Womanizing, partying, drugs, cultism... It was all fun and games though...

Wole was a fresher, brainy/smart and loved by all but had issues with his self esteem. He always felt he wasn't good enough probably because of his poor background.

He was lovable all the same and because of how brainy he was, these group of friends quickly picked interest in him.

Long story short, Wole joined to group of friends and quickly started making adjustments to his new way of life.
He was introduced to the use of drugs(tramadol, D5, weed, SK, rephnol, codein) and of course alcohol, smoking too..
He started to gain his self esteem but his lifestyle was totally nothing to write home about.

He continued like this for about a month with the continuous use of these drugs. If he couldn't get hands on anyone. He would quickly run to the pharmacy to get any fought syrup that contained codein and drink up the whole bottle in split seconds.

With all these, with time he could no longer keep up with school activities because he became too tired, weak or maybe lazy and would spend all day sleeping in bed eventually he completely lost focus, he became addicted to drugs and towards the end of school year, Wole was already battling with mental issues. Really sad.

Please note: This is a true life story. It can happen to anybody so try as much as possible to avoid abuse of drugs.
Also note that the overdose of any drug you use habitually especially without a doctor's prescription can be termed abuse of drugs. So be warned...
