A topic people shy away from but has to be discussed... Lol..
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not here to be a judge as to whether it's right wrong, ethical or not... I feel everyone has a right tl choose what's best for her per time...

On the other hand I'm here on a neutral ground to talk about abortion generally....

What is an abortion? It is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks and this is done so as to stop the pregnancy from resulting in the birth of a child.

Abortion options will depend on how many weeks the pregnancy is, your medical suitability and your personal choice.

There are two types of abortion treatments:

1. Medical abortion using the abortion pill which involves taking medicines to end the pregnancy.

2. Surgical abortion which involves a minor operation that may be done with local anaesthetic, with sedation or rarely with general anaesthetic.

Now, looking at it from a religious perspective... Abortion might not be allowed except in a case where there's a complication and abortion is the only way out. This exception however, can only be permitted for a married woman... Otherwise, abortion is in no way permitted.... At least I haven't seen anywhere in the Bible that supports abortion..

From the ethical or societal view, abortion may or may not be permitted.. It is less stiff than the religious angle. Here, you might choose to do it especially at the early stages where it is believed that the baby hasn't formed yet. But trust me, whether the body has been formed or not.. Any act of stopping or truncating the life process ongoing in a woman is called abortion.. Don't deceive yourself...

Personally, I'm from a standpoint that abortion should be done only when needed especially in cases such as rape where the lady is pregnant not of her own will and probably doesn't even know who the father of the unborn child is. There are also cases of unwanted pregnancies such that a young teenager gets pregnant.. In this case, I feel abortion may be permitted...
But please, I don't want any one to hold on to my words as to whether or not I support abortion...
Everyone has a right to choose what's best for her child or herself.

If you feel abortion is what suits you, then fine.. But before you do... Pause for a moment and ask yourself some questions... What if that child is the one that wold bring you joy the most? What if a complication arises during the abortion process and you lose your womb? What if the child is destined to be a great leader tomorrow?

So many what ifs..... But in all... Do what's best for you and be sure to be proud you did it when you look back in some years to come...
