I want to give a big thanks to @air-clinic for this good contest about Poverty.
Poverty is a miserable disease or to say the most worst disease to humanity as a whole.

This story am about to say might be like a fiction to you, but it a real life story that I witnessed in my presence. Am very sorry because I won't be mentioning the real names of the victim and the affected parent.
When I was in secondary school, was about to sat for my junior waec and cross to the next level which is SS1. There live one of this girl in our midst, she was very good and hard working, she was the first and only child of her family. The girl was very brilliant and intelligent but due to the situation they were battling didn't let her face her study well, she was the one to hawk from morning til evening during weekend and during school week, her mother will hawked from morning til afternoon and when she is back from school she will take over till evening.
Her father was a 1st class mechanical engineer graduated from OAU, but when crisis befalled on them with no job no food turned him to a bricklayer. None of them is happy with their condition but seems their family relative didn't care about their living. The suffer in this poverty to some extent her father gave up to the ghost while on bricklayer job and this caused the girl more even weaker than before.
During the examination registration, she was unable to pay her fee because they found it difficult to eat talkless of paying an examination fee. She was unable to sat for the exam and got sick due to too much thinking because she felt uncomfortable everytime she saw us going to school for the exam and she sitting at home.
One afternoon, where she sat down she started shaking and lost conscious. Their neighbors rushed to her and took her to the hospital for proper sound attention and her mother was away Hawking around. One of their neighbor called her and narrated the whole story to her, at that point she heard it she rushed to the mentioned hospital and found her laying on a sick bed unconsciously.
A nurse came in and told her mother that the doctor in charge seek her presence, she went there and the doctor told her that her daughter can be saved with the sum of #50,000 .
To cut it short, she was unable to provide the money and went to her daughter sat beside her and crying then uttering statements that "If Not Because Of Poverty, This won't have happened to you"
And so she died....
