My Opinion on Abortion (AIR CLINIC)

According to wikipedia, abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus.

Why Abortion?

These are some reasons why most people opt for abortion

• negative impact on the mother's life
• financial instability
• relationship problems /unwillingness to be a single mother

Effects of Abortion

Abortion is generally a safe procedure and most women wont experience any problems after, except in cases where it was done by a quack or local/home methods was used for the procedure. But just like in any medical procedure, something could go wrong.
It is worthy of note that an abortion does not reduce once chances of getting pregnant again except in cases of infections or other complications.

Possible Complications

• infection of the womb
• some of the pregnancy remaining in the womb
• continuation of the pregnancy
• excessive bleeding
• damage of the entrance to the womb (cervix)

My Opinion on Abortion

I will be looking at this from an open minded point of view, no body gets pregnant for the purpose of aborting it. Which means it wasn't expected or as a result of complication during pregnancy which I will be leaving the latter out.

I will state it outrightly that in my opinion, abortion is wrong and should not be encouraged. But my reason for saying this is more religious than scientific or Ideal. Am not one of those who still believes we live in an uninformed world where abortions still claims lives at will, thats not true and if it does its due to neglect and carelessness of the aborter.

Am I encouraging abortion? No!, can abortion be stopped? No!, can the rate of abortion be reduced? Yes!, and the best solution is Improvements in access to contraceptive services and in the provision of safe abortion and post abortion care services (as permitted by law) to help reduce maternal morbidity and mortality as a result of abortion because in my opinion, people will still indulge in premarital sex and it will only get worse with the current rate of moral decadence.
