Aloe Vera: Uses, Application and Division.
For a lot of people, Aloe Vera is probably an ugly ass plant with a nasty taste. For what its worth, I agree with you to a large extent, however there's way more the succulent plant has to offer on a health basis. I'll be running down some of it as I've benefited immensely from this plant.
Brief Intro.
Aloe Vera actually an evergreen perennial that originates from the Arabian Peninsula but grows wild in tropical climates around the world and is cultivated for agricultural and medicinal uses. The species is also used for decorative purposes and grows successfully indoors as a potted plant.
It's widely used for industrial purposes like the production of body lotions, herbal medicine and a bunch of other stuff I'm not "sciency" enough to explain. The point is, Aloe Vera is very important. Its goo would actually dry up an open injury in a matter of minutes, it literally speeds up platelets activity.
Application of Aloe Vera
Research Purpose:
Researchers are at loggerheads about the effectiveness of Aloe Vera; one day someone props up to say the plant isn't healthy blah blah blah then another dude makes an Aloe Vera themed body lotion, soap or something and claims its soothing etc. Its a topic that divides opinions but in truth, it has at least given researchers something to do with their spare time.
Medicinal Purpose:
Like I said earlier, if Aloe works for you then its good for you. Most drugs we consume are actually gotten from plants anyways so why should Aloe Vera be seen any different. As a plant, its "goo" or gel as the science people would call it is applied in a variety of ways.
For one, it is used as a laxative for people looking to drop unwanted levels of load in the restroom, this is probably because it tastes like dog shit and would naturally make one puke anyways.
Dermatologically(very fancy), it's also awesome for the skin. Its extracted and used in a variety of creams, soaps and other skin stuff. Heck, I once used an Aloe Vera coated shaving stick. It was Awesome.
Summary:
Well, summary is suppose to be short so I'll just about keep it that way. Get yourself a bloody pot of Aloe Vera in your house. Its goo is medicinal and could even be aesthetic in some weird "Poison Ivy" kinda way. So why not? Get yourself Aloe Vera and don't be a twat.
I just love that you threw "twat" in there. You get a follow for that. Cheers!
