Albinos Are Human Too "Air-Clinic".

We (Africans) often complain of the illtreatment and discrimination we recieve from the Whites, forgetting that we are also guilty of that same act towards are fellow brothers and sister ; the Albinos.

An Albino is someone with a complete or partial absence of pigment of the skin, eye and hair. An Albino is characterised by pinkish skin, light hair and pale skin.

This makes them an object of pity in our society. Most of us see them as less humans and inferior to us.

I once had a friend who told me she was getting married to an Albino and unconsciously I asked her, why marry an Albino?

I have been a in gathering where people where exchanging pleasantries by handshake but nobody gave hands to the Albino.

One Saturday evening, I wanted to board a bus to a friends place but when I noticed the driver was an Albino, I refused entering the bus.

What about issues of employment, where Albinos are not accepted simply because they are Albinos. Our society treats them with lots of neglegence.

But this should not be the case because every individual Black, White, Albino, are one and the same. The human race is one and no particular group of persons are superior to the others. It is not a crime been an Albino.

In the words of Marthin Luther I say: people should not be judged based on the colour of thier skin but by the content of thier character.

Say no to the discrimination against Albinos.
