AIR-CLINIC WRITING CONTEST: MOSQUITO AND AFRICAN MAN

Its one thing to be an African but another thing to be a Nigerian. We have gotten use to mosquito to the extend when we go to mosquito free area, we literally feel lonely. These mosquitoes look muscular and their proboscis like two edge sword with their stomach like G.P tank ready to suck ur life away. Mosquitoes with different adaptive features.

Have u seen mosquitoes crawling before? These set of mosquitoes can pass through any hole just to bite the hell out of you. Treated net its not a barrier to hold these beast, they crawl under the net just to have a piece of you. Don't make any mistake and your body come in contact with the "treated net" for long. They don't care if its treated or not, they just wanna eat.

Some of these mosquitoes are cannibalistic in nature, they bite and take your skin with them. Whenever you wake up, you will see blood all over your skin. These kind actually pierces through your clothes or your coverings just to suck your precious blood.

Some of these mosquitoes are resistance to insecticide, its as if you are spreading perfume on them, they just keep flying around looking for food.

My friend said they actually wear masks that protect them from the insectide. So we deploy to manual killing where we use our hands and its has proven to be effective. I and my roommate will stay up at night just to hunt them down and kill them, hearing the sound of hands, they just fly away.
