SHOULD DOCTORS/NURSES MIGRATE TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR BETTER PAY?
Hello Air-Clinicians & friends,
Its a beautiful Tuesday morning and another episode of our Public Health Forum (Week 44)where we find out what you really think about healthcare and systems in general. It also helps us serve you better by getting answers which can help us improve our services to you daily.
Today we would like you all to tell us :IS IT RIGHT FOR DOCTORS OR HEALTH WORKERS TO MIGRATE TO OTHER COUNTRIES FOR BETTER PAY?
As we all know, this is one issue that isn't new to us all as we must have heard about it one way or the other whereby doctors/dentists, nurses etc tend to leave their countries to practise in some other countries due practitioners in developing countries.
What can be done to stop this or is this something that has come to stay as long as there is a disparity in this aspect?!

Ideally they shouldn't migrate to another country because they do then it's loss for the country but at the same time govt should also provide them the better opportunities ao that they can excel their growth and help the country. Its obvious now a days that if skilled people don't get the oportunity according to their qualification then they prefer to migrate for the same.

Saludos desde Venezuela, recuerdo llegar hace 1 año con mi esposo al hospital y la doctora de guardia no había cenado y no tenia como desayunar por falta de dinero. Realmente comento con la enfermera que se sentía mal mi esposo escucho y fue y le compro desayuno, volvió el color a su mejillas y pudo atender a mi esposo. Creo que un gran numero de doctores se han ido de nuestro país. Por eso busco aprender algo sobre mejor salud.
Greetings from Venezuela, I remember arriving 1 year ago with my husband to the hospital and the doctor on duty had not had dinner and did not have breakfast for lack of money. I really commented with the nurse who felt bad, my husband listened and went and I bought him breakfast, he returned the color to his cheeks and could attend to my husband.
