#AIR-CLINIC HEALTH TALK: WHY WOMEN SHOULD LEAD IN THE BEDROOM! by Dr. Maureen Aleyo
Hello Air-Clinicians & Friends,
It was a very heated discussion yesterday in #AIR-CLINIC as we dissected this topic under the ANCHORSHIP of @Dr.MaureenAleyo a practicing medical doctor from Kenya. We are happy with the justice she did with the topic opening up different opinions.
We had participants from all over the world joining us including @josejirafa all the way from phillipines. Other participants from Nigeria included Dr. George ( @nairadaddy), Dr. Blessing ( @thelovejunkie), Dr. @stanleyc-md, Dr. @victoryekpin, @adoore-eu, @dubem-eu, @dennisdaniel, @nexrules, @samirich, @magdarobinson, @pearlumie etcz.

WHAT ARE THE THINGS DONE IN THE BEDROOM?
People had hilarious lists of things done in the bedroom including;
- Prayers
- Sleep
- Discussions
- Playing
- SEX!
We can all agree that sex was the topic...
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LEAD IN THE BEDROOM?
- The leader is one who defines the sexual roles. HE/she determines who stays where, who does what, when what is done etcz.
WHO SHOULD LEAD IN THE BEDROOM?
- There were differing opinions on this which ranged to the 2 extremes and some remained in the middle;
1- MEN SHOULD LEAD
The proponents of this believe that it was culturally and socially 'normal' for men to lead in the bedroom. They propose that 90% of sexual activities were lead by men. SO they should continue... Men make the first move/initiate sex most times, so men should lead what they started. Lolx.
2- WOMEN SHOULD LEAD
This is an emerging stream of thought. The proponents argue that since the men have been doing it for so long, the women should take over. Lolx.
3- BOTH SHOULD LEAD
The proponents of this school of thought believe that everyone has the ability to lead. So both of them should be activated in the bedroom.
OUR CONCLUSIONS
Eventually, after so many hours of thoughts and talks, we all came to the conclusion that whoever the spirit leads should lead in the bedroom. So whether its a man or woman doesn't matter that much. What matters is that there's a couple's union and that activities in the bedroom do continue in an exciting way.
It could get boring when one person does all the leading all the time. For a change, someone else should lead. If you trust your partner enough then you 2 should be able to open up to each other whenever you feel the urge.

For me i don't care who leads, and i don't think there will be time to think about who leads and who doesn't.

A very carefully thought out discussion. Its very important couples deliberate over fundamental issues as this in other to ensure a harmonious relationship. My take is everyone can lead while ensuring communication and reading none verbal cues from partner. Two cannot walk together except they agree
If there is one question I have always discuss with my friend about sex is this particular Topic.
I have wondered how couples initiate sex at night but this topic gives me an insight.
I subscribe the conclusion reached yesterday
I beleive in the saying that goes like this " what a man can ,a woman can do it better.so ,i strongly surpport you people conclusion that anyone led by spirit should lead .
I'm still of the opinion that women should lead, that time has come... Men are almost mostly willing to oblige.

Everyone can lead!
I really enjoyed the discussion. It was an educative piece and mind opener as well.
In my opinion, anyone can lead. When only one of them continue to make the move, it could become boring and might result to lack of interest.
Both should lead where necessary, after all a happy home is the true ultimate goal.
For me, I maintain my opinion, anyone could take the lead. Body reaction differs, so if you want it, go for it, and put your spouse feelings into consideration.
Who should lead in sex should not be a thing concern because sex is passion and should be spontanous.
So true women should take sexual initiative. They should learn to take the lead
