AI Say Yes To The Dress
Internet fashion tech start-up Vue.ai is offering technology that analyzes parts of clothing and automatically produces a picture of the clothes on a person of any size, condition, or having any type of footwear.
Rather than hiring a qualified photographer, models, and a studio, they use artificial intelligence. The AI generate a human figure with any sort of figure or skin type, then predict how the clothes would match.
They use machine learning approach, called generative adversarial networks, or GANs. The system has two AIs: a generator and a critic. The generator aims to generate an image that looks nice, and the critic considers if it looks acceptable. This is relatively new approach by Google's Ian Goodfellow in 2014, and work specifically well-creating images.
