Wonderfully explained! Of all the machine learning topics, computer vision and image recognition has got to be one of my weakest points, mainly because my hardware couldn't take the brunt of processing so I never really got into it as much as I wanted to. I'm sure people who are not in the know would appreciate this very much!

It definitely can get pretty burly on home computers which is why I've been working with the smaller images here. The 28x28 pixels haven't been too bad so far, probably needing to upgrade at least my ram to do full size ones. Maybe it's time to put together a box full of graphics cards, Lol!
I'm glad you enjoyed the read! I really try to balance enough concepts with little math, which may be a bit tougher as this progresses. Hopefully I can get the next part out in the next couple days.
