Even the best AI can only churn through existing data, at best finding new patterns. But real insight and wisdom comes from somewhere else, somewhere hidden and accessible only when the conscious, logical mind is stilled. It is this wellspring that lies behind all great art, great philosophy, and great science. All else is little more than obsessive manipulation of the known.
your comment is interesting, are you familiar with Walter Russell who also said that stillness is the cradle of everything.
I don't think so, but I will check him out. Thanks for the tip and the thought-provoking post. As it says in the Tao Te Ching, "A bowl is useful because of the emptiness it contains."
