Artificial Intelligence is something you should just keep up with. Just a few weeks ago @kidsysco posted about Google's DeepMind learning how to walk. Just a little over a week ago Facebook's A.I. Research Lab shutdown their project after it's chatbots taught itself a brand new language only it was understanding with each other. Posted the chat transcript here. As A.I. moves forward, The University of British Columbia has created their bot that has now taught itself how to run:

Holy crap I've got to read more about that Facebook chatbot thing. That's simultaneously amazing and terrifying stuff.
