STEEMIT FARMING: STARTUP TILL DATE PHOTO GALLERY

Wonderful steemians, when I started this farm I never knew I would do as much as I am doing now because of the distance to the farm and other commitments I was involved in.

I have alwasy loved farming as a child, going to the farm with my parents back then in Edo State.

Our Saturdays were always in the bush. Sunday services most times held In the farm together with the crops, birds and the trees.

While my elder ones were angry going to the farm, I saw it as a privilege. I was the youngest that could go to the farm. My younger siblings, 4 of them dont know what it was to be in a large farm of over 8 acres and sometimes we would have close to 15 workers at a time for the labour of the day.

All I did was run around, plant corn (maize) when its in season and cook for every worker.

There were times we would leave behind about 5 of them with a hunter-carring a gun for their safety. They would stay in the farm for about 3 days to finish their assigned task.

I love those memories. I hold them close to my heart and right now I envision doing farming in such large scale and even better.

My humble beginning as a farmer is so precious to me. I'm also getting experts and consultants involved at every stage as I progress.
