One of the psychological conditions that is prevalent in today's society and has a detrimental impact on both the individual and their surroundings is passive-aggressive personality disorder.

It is impossible for people with passive-aggressive personality disorder to communicate with the people they wish to. During the conversation, they are unable to express to the other person how they truly feel, what they are thinking, or what they need.

But they show these emotions on the outside. They accomplish this by hinting at or speaking about them subtly. For instance, even if they would like to refuse a task when it is assigned, they are unable to do so and risk causing issues for the project.

These people are unable to communicate their feelings of aggression because they are unable to say no. They harbour rage within of them, which they then vent through other channels.

Even problems that are typically solved quickly cannot always be solved by people with passive-aggressive personalities. They are unable to address the issue head-on, thus it progressively gets worse. They also have a propensity to blame others for their misfortunes.

Those who are close to these folks experience tension and uneasiness. They feel on guard all the time since they can't predict the bad responses that the passive-aggressive person will offer.

People who display such attitudes and are passive-aggressive frequently feel lonely for these kinds of reasons. It negatively impacts their relationships with other people because they act rudely and aggressively towards the person they are speaking with. They do, however, occasionally regret their actions.

They may carry on with this behaviour even if they know it is bad because they are insulted by the person in front of them. For those who are passive-aggressive, uncertainty can be extremely frightening.

They make every effort to overcome their sense of uncertainty. They are both concerned and incensed about this scenario. They might, however, experience regret after experiencing this kind of emotion.

For instance, a passive-aggressive person may declare that they despise and have never loved their parents after a conflict. But right away afterward, they attempt to retract their remarks and experience intense sorrow.

They can tell them that they genuinely adore them and are glad to have them in their lives as a way to make up for what they said. It follows that these individuals are capable of experiencing both happy and negative feelings simultaneously.

It is extremely difficult for passive-aggressive persons to sustain a long and good marriage or friendship because of these conflicting attitudes they exhibit throughout conversation. A person with passive-aggressive personality disorder experiences severe negative effects in their social life.
