I'll like to highlight some of those I will briefly talk about:

  • Mrs Okonjo Iweala
  • Prof. Wole Soyinka
  • Ms. Agbani Darego

In the year 2001, Agbani Darego of Nigeria was crowned the title of Miss world & this is the first time Nigeria won the title of Miss World. This has been so far a world record title, a ground breaking one and one as such that history can never forget.

Asides from her beauty, she is loaded with intelligence, modesty, level of exposure, academic abilities, outstanding courage and so many other potentials that made her leave marks on the sands of time.

  • Mrs Okonjo Iweala

Her achievements

She served two terms as Finance Minister of Nigeria (2003-2006, 2011-2015) and was previously Managing Director of the World Bank (2007-2011). She currently chairs the Board of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) and the African Risk Capacity (ARC). She is also a Senior Adviser at #Lazard.

With all these achievements, she has represented Africa very well in the outside world and has proven herself to be the best among her equals, she is recognized all over the world for her astute leadership and financial management prowess.

His achievements

  • He was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature, the first African to be honoured in that category & in December 20 he was awarded the Europe Theatre Prize in the "Special Prize" category.

As an African, he has contributed to the realisation of cultural events that promote understanding and the exchange of knowledge between peoples and he has a large quantity of books authored by him that has brought the world to its kneels.
