Ghana is very rich in culture, with our beautiful hand woven Kente cloth, African prints etc. We are indeed a blessed country.

Traditional ceremonies in Ghana are now very colourful than they used to be some time past, with the incorporation of the KENTE cloth. Today's brides are now in the fashion of rocking very beautiful pieces with chic designs which accentuate the curves and complements their skin tones.

Every Kente has its own meaning , every symbol on the cloth tells a story. When choosing your Kente cloth don't just choose because of the colours, but also make sure you understand the meaning of what the symbols say in the design, so you don't end up wearing something that has a different meaning to what you intended to wear.

We have Fathia fata Nkrumah which is very colourful and bright and symbolizes a good wife, unity and a good marriage.

A sample of the OBAAPA KENTE means The Virtuous Woman.

This is a sample of the AHWENE PA NKASA which literally means Precious Beads Do Not Rattle.

A sample of BABADUA KENTE; which means symbol of protection (Babadua is the name of a certain tree, whose stem was used in making fences around mud houses in the golden days).

This is a sample of the ODOMFIMPADIE KENTE; which literally means Ribs of Love/My Lover/my Beloved.

The Kente fabric highlights our rich culture and ethnic diversity, making the Kente cloth very high in demand and quite pricey too. The higher the demand, the higher the price ...that's Ghana for you.
