Today, as part of community building; @steem-lagos came up with idea to help interested newbies and every Nigerian Steemian who's not yet familiar with converting their earnings into local currency, and guess what; no charges!

Yes- It is absolutely free.

Steemians can now convert their small or large cryptocurrencies, we will help change from 10 Steem/SBD and above.

How it's gonna work

For every tiny-small amount to be converted, it would be accumulated to a total of 50 Steem/SBD i.e if User A has 13 SBD to covert, then User A can look for other users with similar amount till the total reaches 50 or above.

User A and maybe User B and C could either send their Tokens individually or together at the same time. Once they all make a sum of 50 and above Steem/SBD- then the conversion is a go!

Changing from trading platforms attract charges, and so charges on Small amount of tokens might not be of benefits to any user with small amount of Steem/SBD to convert, therefore the more users converting-they all bear the exchange fee and local bank charges together from Luno or Remitano.

Community growth and development is paramount, therefore so we could not bear to see helpless newbies been taking advantage of by some smart individuals. It is an obligation, someone has to do something about it, hence the @steem-lagos crew came up with this idea so as to make an easy seamless local conversion with no fee-no hassles!

As much as this look simple and cheap, only newbies will greatly appreciate this gesture. It is our way of giving back to the community and help foster newbies growth and development.

For any interested Individuals, use your local bank details as memo when sending your Steem/SBD to @steem-lagos after-which you get a screenshot of your token value in Bitcoins and the local currency- Naira on Steemchat or Discord. If you happened not to be on either of this, then include your whatsApp number in the memo along with your bank details.

Note

@steem-lagos will not incur any charges for carrying this out, the group of individuals that sends their tokens to be converted bears all the Exchange and local banking charges.
