Growing up I learnt early on that one of the best ways to make money but to take one of my hobbies and turn it into a job. for me that hobby was gardening which evolved into a full-fledged landscaping business by the time I was 16 years old. It did take a little bit of time and effort to go from playing in the dirt and planting random seeds, to organised professional landscaping turning people's yards into paradise. But of course you don't have to choose landscaping as your hobby I'm sure you have something for less labor-intensive that you like to do in your spare time. Whatever that may be from aerobics to woodworking if there's somebody out there willing to pay you for your artisanship and hard work. Now they may not be willing to pay you a lot, but if you do it well you may attract numerous customers and make a good income from your hobby.

If your hobby pertains to creating physical goods that people will appreciate in some way or another then you need to contemplate how you will sell that item. Depending on what niche the item that you create fits into it will be a good idea to post the item on ebay and amazon where it will reach millions of potential buyers. Once you've gotten it listed on one of those platforms I suggest you reach out to bloggers and recruit some of them too write affiliate post about your product. You should also look into other types of influencers on social media such as twitter, youtube and facebook so that they can help spread the message and advertise your goods.

If you are like me and your not very artistic, then you should try teaching. There are currently many options available for individuals who would like to teach others especially in underprivileged areas. in recent years a phenomenon of volunteered tourism has arisen where individuals from western nations go to developing countries and volunteer their services in various different capacity. will now it has even become popular to teach english as a foreign language which has become quite lucrative in countries like china and italy. So if your up for a working vacation of about 6 months or more then you should maybe look into getting certified to teach english as a foreign language. There are many companies out there that offer certification and job placement for aspiring teachers.

Of course you don't have to travel around the world to turn your hobby into a profitable endeavour you could become a freelancer and sell your services online amongst the plethora of websites that connect parties searching for some service or another. one of my favorites is called fiverr, which is a platform for freelancers that provide various services to small business owners and other online entities. you could always also look into teaching others and making a profit on it by using a platform like Udemy, which connects students and teachers across a variety of subjects. and finally how could I forget that if you have lots of time on your hand you could create your own blog and youtube channel where you could be whoever you want to be and build up your audience into fame.

At the end of the day most hobbies can be jobs it just really depends on what you're willing to sacrifice and how hard your willing to work to make it successful. With any endeavour it takes time and effort so you cannot expect to become successful overnight, but you can expect to earn something if you put your mind to it.
