I feel like a migrant in my own country. Why I had to run away from Cameroon?
Why I migrated to Cameroon is found HERE. I would like to tell you why I had to run away from my beautiful home just a few days ago.
1st October was called as a celebration of the independence of Ambazonia (part of Cameroon called Souther Cameroons former British colony, more info HERE). I guess no one knew what is going to happen. Ambazonian internet generals Mark Baretta and Tapang Ivo who share mostly propaganda encouraging people to fight for their freedom when they are sitting in their warm homes in Belgium and USA not only provoked thousands of people to go to streets but also showed online entire strategy to Cameroonian Gov't which prepared very well for day D.
Thousands of soldiers were deployed to Southern Cameroon to push back the celebration. No one believes they were only Cameroonian soldiers (probably also Chadian and Central African). Internet was shut down again (CMR Gov't cut internet already in February 2017 for 93 days). I can clearly say there is no freedom of speech in Cameroon at all. Probably never has been! More than fifty peaceful demonstrators were killed by the army. Thousands were arrested and taken away to capital city Yaounde without any contact with their families.
Finally, I stayed in Bamenda – capital city of Northwest region of Cameroon as an only white person. All embassies called their people back home apart of Czech embassy in Abuja (Czech doesn't have an embassy in Cameroon) who doesn't care at all. Anyway, I didn't want to go. But to run our conservation program in @kedjom-keku without internet and with a lot of fear is absolutely impossible.
So here I am. Back in Czech feeling as an immigrant in my own country. Just trying to find my own way how to sustain our conservation program in Cameroonian Kedjom-Keku and survive in the concrete Europian jungle.

STOPIt's good you were fortunate enough to get out of there. Just think of those who do not have the wherewithal to evacuate. You're back inside the Empire, the source of those people's misery. The psychopaths who control the imperialistic death machine will not stop until the entire world is under their control. Keeping these third-world locations in turmoil is all part of the plan.
Glad you were doing good work, trying to restore parts of the natural world being consumed by the consumer culture. I know it must be hard for you having lived with simple people in more natural surroundings. Once you've lived in the thrid world with people who have few possessions and have learned how much happier they are in their simplicity, it makes it hard to come back to the miserable and selfish people of the affluent west.
Until things settle down again and you can return (perhaps), you can work from within the "belly of the beast" to educate people and quietly chew away at the propaganda machine that keeps this juggernaut rolling. You have a lot of work ahead of you. We all do.
Thanks for your reaction. i hope I could return back as soon as possible. Until then I will try to support our conservation program from Czechia. We do not work alone, fortunatelly we have great local partners who are helping us a lot. If I could I would definitely do everything to help my friends to get rid of the terrible dictator ruling Cameroon since 60' (firstly as prime minister, now 35 years as president). I hope (believe) Steemit will help me with all our effort.

Sorry to hear all of that amigo. I really wish situation will get to some order for you to return home, but we all know its Africa and some people prefer it to be shattered to piece as small as possible and any conflict may take decades to resolve. I hope this will not be the case. All the luck with the work from Czech, hopefully you will find some place there to feel ok.
