As the recovery program continues to progress, The AFP is pleased to provide the community with another important update regarding the ongoing implementation and results achieved thus far.
Over the past several weeks, operational teams have remained focused on participant verification, case reviews, refund processing, and participant support. Thanks to the continued cooperation of participants and the dedication of the teams involved, the recovery program has reached several significant milestones that reflect the steady advancement of the initiative.
Continued Growth in Completed Refunds
The AFP is pleased to report that, as of the date of this publication, 1947 participants have successfully completed the recovery process and received their refunds.
This represents a substantial increase from previous reporting periods and demonstrates the continued momentum of the program as more verified cases progress through review and approval stages.
In addition, total disbursements have now exceeded $4,000,000, marking another major milestone in the recovery effort.
These figures represent more than financial distributions alone. Behind every completed refund lies a detailed process involving participant verification, documentation review, case assessment, approval procedures, and final disbursement. Each successful case reflects the combined efforts of multiple teams working to ensure that all participants are treated fairly and that the recovery process remains secure and transparent.
Maintaining the Integrity of the Refund Pool
As participation continues to increase, it has become necessary to implement additional measures designed to improve efficiency and ensure that available recovery resources are allocated appropriately.
Effective immediately, participants should be aware that once an account has been credited within the recovery system, all required steps associated with the refund process must be completed within three (3) days.
Accounts that remain inactive or incomplete beyond this period may have their allocated recovery funds returned to the active refund pool for reassessment and future redistribution according to program requirements.
This measure has been introduced to prevent unnecessary delays, reduce inactive case volumes, and ensure that resources remain available for participants who are actively engaged in completing the recovery process.
Participants are therefore strongly encouraged to carefully review all instructions and complete any outstanding requirements promptly once their account has been credited.
Ongoing Reviews and Participant Support
While the number of completed refunds continues to rise, a significant volume of submissions remains under active review.
As previously communicated, individual cases may require varying levels of assessment depending on the documentation provided and the circumstances surrounding each claim. For this reason, processing times may differ between participants.
Individuals who have already submitted the required information and have not yet received further communication are encouraged to remain patient. Review activities remain ongoing, and cases continue to be processed according to operational priorities and established verification procedures.
The absence of immediate contact should not be interpreted as an issue with a submission.
Looking Ahead
The primary objective of the recovery program remains unchanged: to maximize the number of successful refunds while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
Additional resources continue to be deployed to support participant communications, verification activities, and refund processing operations. These efforts are intended to further improve efficiency and increase processing capacity as the program continues to mature.
Reaching 1947+ completed refunds and surpassing the $4 million disbursement milestone represents meaningful progress, but significant work remains ahead. Every completed case strengthens confidence in the process and moves the recovery effort closer to its long-term objectives.
