Hi Everyone,

Back again for another week of Captains Candidates.

Here I will again recommend my 4 best choices for the C this weekend in Fantasy.

Last week we had a changing of the guard for the number 1 weekly Captains Choice with Macrae pushing ahead of Mitchell in the reliability stakes.

Mitchell responded to the Fantasy demotion brilliantly by putting up a 149!

Macrae however got 144 in the wet no less so he remains the number 1 Captains Choice for another week and he is still the top scorer in AFL Fantasy this year with 1181 points overall.

Mitchell is in 2nd place with 1080.

Below are this weeks Top 4 choices that I believe will get the job done for you on the park.

Jack Macrae (Western Bulldogs)

As touched on above Macrae scored 144 last week in the wet over in Adelaide so remains my number 1 choice.

All indications are for another big one this week as Macrae will enjoy the perfect conditions of Etihad Stadium against a Fantasy Friendly non tagging Collingwood side.

At a price of $885k he is a hard man to afford if you don't already have him but if you are luckily enough to own him, stick the C on him this week without any hesitation.

Tom Mitchell (Hawthorn)

Mitchell was back in business last week with a huge 149 score to keep him firmly on the Captaincy radar.

I expect he will put up a similar score this week at Etihad against the free flowing Eagles.

Mitchell enjoys playing them and had a 122 last time out in this match up.

If you don't own Macrae, then Mitchell is the obvious choice for the C this week.

Brodie Grundy (Collingwood)

Grundy has been stiff not to get a mention in this post as a candidate so far this year but after a 135 last week he has moved into the 3rd highest fantasy scorer position and is impossible to keep ignoring.

Grundy will enjoy playing a Western Bulldogs team that has an under strength Ruck department and looks set to dominate in the perfect conditions of Etihad Stadium.

Rucks don't often get the C so he could be a great point of difference Captaincy move for you this week and he won't let you down if you pick him.

Patrick Dangerfield (Geelong)

The Cats will be hurting after their shocker last week and none of them will take it more personally than Danger.

He will be well aware his form as a whole has been down a little this year and he is long overdue a big game.

Playing a weakened Carlton team in front of the home crowd of Geelong could be just the tonic for a special Danger
performance and I would recommend considering the great man as your opponent probably won't.

Best of luck this week for whoever you choose to put the C on this week.
