Smile for peace

Sunday marks 17 years since the U.S. invaded Afghanistan.

We remember the air of peace and love that surrounded us right after the 911 attacks. We were united at that moment.
We could have used that moment to become the leader of world peace. Instead we acted on revenge and end up killing and destroying millions of innocent people.

Out of all the U.S. politicians, only one person voted No on attack on Afghanistan, only one voice for peace. Look at us now.
It is so absurd and sad all I can do is smile and go on as a dreamer for peace.
