She changed me

It was a sweet rainy ☔ day, the weather was cold and romantic, I could feel the need of being around my girlfriend, I called her so many times because I was far at work. It was really getting late and dark outside, She didn't take my calls, I got scared that something bad might have happened to her, so I decided to take excuse from my boss to close for the day.
I hurried into my car and zoomed off, when I got home she was not outside despite the loud noise I usually make with my car 🚗 horn. Usually she rushes out to welcome me back, this made me worried, next place I saw my self was inside my apartment heading to the dining room, I observed she has made dinner for me, but wen I opened the plates, it was empty. immediately I sighted a male shirt hanging on the chair, I have never seen my heart beat so fast like it did that day, i have to drop the flowers I bought for her on the table and used my both hands to support my chest because I could feel my heart leaping out, as if I wasn't going through so much pains already then I saw her hair tie on the floor around a shoe 👟, it was wet and dirty.
I became furious and weak at the same time. It was obvious she is having an affair in the visitors room, so I ran to my workshop and I was lucky to grab a very strong, long mop.
I have always asked myself how could she be so faithful to me, I decided to catch her red handed, so I pushed the door with force and slipped with my face landing on the floor, the ground was so wet! I hurriedly looked up to still catch her red handed only to see her fully covered with her cloths on, and beside her was my Dad who came to visit. It dawned on me that I was wrong, I became ashamed of my attitude. So as a man, I decided to cover up, I immediately welcomed my dad, gave my girlfriend an innocent sweet hug and a kiss on her forehead and bent down, picked the mop and began to mop the whole house just to cover up. You need to see me smiling and mopping.
(I realized she didn't take my call because my dad was stranded under the rain, and she went to pick him up, she used her hair tie to clean my dad's shoe 👟, the house was wet because my dad was soaked under the rain,) am glad I grabbed a mop, had it been I came in with cutlass, how would I have covered up?
She really changed me, I learnt to love her more and respect her for the care and love she exhibited.
But my waist still hurts me since the mopping...
