Only Original, Quality Content from now on.

Dear Steemians,

Yesterday I was promoting my mediocre post on discord. I kind of spammed it and one of the admins got annoyed. He looked at the post, amd realized that I took a photo from the internet and posted it here, as my content. Therefore he flagged my post from plagiarism. So I lost the hard owned 2 $ from spamming my mediocre post on a couple of chat channels.

At first I thought it was ridiculous, that he has done that because I was rude on the chat, but actually he has teached me a great lession.

Think about this: you will always get the amount of value that you offer. If you don't invest enough time and effort into your posts, you will have little results. People like great, original content, not posts with a link to a youtube video/ internet image with second hand jokes. If you want to succeed, you got to stand out.

I still dislike the posts with a couple of photos of some muffins and donuts that get thousands of dollars. But you don't have to be the same, you must show your own blueprint, create extraordinary, interesting and useful posts that can bring value to other human beings. I decided I don't want to be common, I want to be unique. From now on, I don't want to take content I like from the Internet and post it here, but to create great, new, outstanding posts thar I am proud of. I want to inspire, motivate, help people.

I want to invent jokes that I find funny and that I think others will find funny too. I want to put a smile on someone's face, make the day of someone better, make people happy, entertain. And if I can't think of a good joke some day, I will post other useful information, motivational inspirational entertaining interesting helpful information. And if somehow I can't compile a good post someday, I'll just post a piece of sht. But at least it will be my piece of sht, my own creation. I won't, however, take anything from the internet and post it as my own content and if/when I will I will turn off the rewards. I will still take photos from the internet but just to describe the situation from my post and to help the reader understand the post on a deeper level.

This post is already long, but that's what I wanted to say. Steemians, this is my message to you:

Don't make mediocre content, don't take other people's stuff and just post it in here and spam it in the chat or do upvote for upvote or follow for follow. Make original, outstanding interesting entertaining helpful content and others will appreciate it, reward it and engage with it. People with lots of steem power will reward you according to your effort. Everyone likes quality posts, nobody likes boring muffin articles.

If you found this post helpful, please resteem to spread the message against mediocrity and plagiarism to other little steemians. Don't be same. Be better. Be best.

This was my post, Yours sincerely,

Johnny Da Baus

It's awesome that you were willing to listen to good advice, take it to heart, and implement changes to improve. Hoping you find more success on Steemit with your original content than you thought you would with other people's material...the platform really rewards originality! Have a great weekend :)

Much better Johnny. I like the direction. I know I may have looked like a bad dude for flagging a few of your posts in the past but any time you need a read just drop a link in my inbox on the chat.

Awesome! Original work always seems to have more value, even if our payouts arent huge. The satisfaction of creating the original content is always better than the feeling of sharing someone else's content. My favorite thing to do on Steemit is record music videos. I enter them in the open mic contest and such, and regardless of whether i win, sharing music that im playing with others who enjoy is is pretty awesome. Steem on!

Good idea Johnny you can always site your sources and give people credit for photos too. Hope to see some of your new content!

<3 totally awesome man and great gameplan <3

Beautiful questioning!

I totally agree, resteemed, upvoted and followed ;-)
