Can we no longer advertise Steemit on Facebook?

Looks like it will be difficult to advertise anything related to cryptocurrency on Facebook.
Could accounts like @jerrybanfield on Facebook get banned?
I am interested to hear everyone's take on this.
yes i think very big possibility as they are direct competitors so Facebook will try that for sure, maybe even other social medias might follow their steps
I feel like most cryptocurrencies will get looked at a lot harder this year, and only forward looking companies will continue to embrace the legit ones.
Banning crypto adds or not. It's going to be really interesting to see how Facebook, Twitter and the rest are going to face new emerging social networks like steemit. If they won't be able to adapt, than we could easily see history repeat itself. Like it happened to Kodak and digital cameras, Nokia and smart phones, Alta vista ran over by Google ... And many other once great companies that were not able to adapt quickly enough to survive.
Very true, we could see Facebook turn into myspace if they do not advance with technology.
The examples they give make it seem like they just want to ban scammy ads, but the actual rule is written in an arbitrary way. Are they banning ads with "deceptive promotional practices," or are they banning ads for cryptocurrency? Seems pretty sketchy.
Being intentionally vague gives them lots of room to do whatever they want.
steemit is real danger for facebook, so expect anything to happen
It will be worth keeping an eye on for sure.
Facebook is a real danger to humanity...
True in so many ways
steemit and fecebook different things, we do not know about this why dangerous steemit promoted fecebook? @azfix
Not sure what you are trying to say, sorry
actually, by not advertising any steemit will still win when competing with other social media. certainly.
because with stories of people, or just seeing friends playing steemit, surely they will ask to be registered. by not advertising any steemit will remain victorious. @azfix
I agree Steemit will do great on its own!
Thank you 👌
Hmm.. This is interesting news. Not totally sure what to think. But I definitely enjoyed reading all the other comments on here! :) Steemits future is looking very bright and positive! Outside of a few issues here and there with whales and reward abuse and a few things like that.
Were you on TSU before? TSU was another social site. FB banned any mention of TSU even in private messages.
