Token Review: Kind Ads, Decentralized Advertisement Exchange Platform

Kinds Ads is an upcoming decentralized advertisement exchange platform with the vision to directly connect advertisers and publisers. The web platfrom will have its own erc20 token (KIND), which will be used to purchase services within the platform. It will compete in the digital advertising market which is valued well above 100 billion dollars.

How It Works

Kind Ads Protocal will be built on top of the ethereum blockchain and the web. Website or blog publishers will be able to list their websites on Kind Ads to attract advertisers. Advertisers will be able to choose from many website publishers and sort them based on their needs and directly contact the publishers. And they can do so without paying any fees.

The Kind Ads web application/website will have systems in place to score sites based on "Kind Ads Score" to prevent cheating. The trust score will be similar to seo trust score where spammy websites or low quality publishers are ranked lower.

Incentives

In order for this platform to grow, it needs to offer something that current ad networks aren't offering. The platform will have zero fees which is the main incentive for users to join it. It will allow advertisers to get more ad placements with lower costs and publishers will also earn more than what they currently earn from ad services like Adsense (Adsense charges 30% fees).

Team

The Kind Ads team has many experienced team members with strong advisors. One of the advisors is Neil Patel who promoted the project in a recent livestream. The CEO is Saulo Medeiros. Looking into his linkedIn, it appears that he has quite a lot experience in the advertising market. Many of the other members also have backgrounds in digital advertising.

Competition

Once the Kind Ads platfrom is launched, it will compete with big ad networks such as Google Adsense, Media.net and also smaller startups such as Ad Shares and Basic Attention Token. Currently, Adsense controls about 33% of the entire Advertising market. When blockchain based alternatives such as BAT and Kind Ads become more popular, they will have serious competition against Adsense because they offer zero fee service. Adsense will have to decrese their fees or will be killed by the free market economy.
