Travel tales from Ladakh - Teaser
Last evening I was going through my hard disk and came across photos from my first Ladakh visit back in 2012.
I’ve been to Ladakh 4 times and trust me the excitement is still very much the same. While my initial thought was to post a photo-blog summarizing those trips however that won’t do justice to the moments I lived there.
Those who don’t know Ladakh – It’s a land of high mountain passes, lies between the Himalayas and the Kunlun mountain range at a height of more than 3,000 metres (9,800 feet). People call it a playground for Bikers which started making sense once I rode down from Delhi.
Posting trailer while I prepare for the main show:
Its just beautiful out here
Market area from 2012 visit, there's a complete makeover done now

Biggest trouble of travelling solo is the miss on your photos

Once a biker always a biker. Managed to break my personal best at the Magnetic Hill. The front wheel got stuck in mud while turning and i had no option but to drop the bike
Not to miss this time I had my wife accompanying
Will be posting individually about my trips to Ladakh. While the photos are too many; sorting the best of the lot becomes a real task and will take some time

Travelling throuth Ladakh and Himachal-pradesh was my favourite trip. A lot of emotions, stories, nice people. I wish someday i will return and take a royal Endfiled ride.
I keep going back to Ladakh for same very reason. Let know if you are heading back to India, I can arrange an enfield and ride to Ladakh
