Fastest growing plants. Top five
Today I have done some research on the five fastest growing plant. Why only five? Well I see it as a race and getting fifth place is not something to brag about and let’s face it. No one cares about 6,7,8,9 and 10.

1. Eastern cottonwood
   This is the fastest growing tree in North America. This tree grows 10-15 feet per year.
   

2. Duck weed
   This small flowering plant witch floats on water can go throe an entire life cycle in 30 hours. If it was able to continuously do this it would be all over the earth in just one month.
   

3. Algae
   Algae are very fast growing eukaryotes (they are plantlike, but not technically plants; they are actually quite hard to classify), and are found all over the world.
   

4. Hybrid poplar tree
   It only takes five year till harvest for these trees. This tree can grow ten feet a year which is impressive but not as impressive as number one.
   

1.Bamboo
Bamboo is used to make eco-friendly products because some species can grow 10cm a day. That adds up to 2.8m a month.
