Our Holiday 2007 where is the airport now in 2018 - IT'S GONE!

A look back at a holiday in 2007 Flying out from our local airport
Our local Airport - MANSTON - here on the Isle of Thanet, Kent. U.K
Has been closed and they have removed the Landing Light
Manston was used many time as an Emergency Airport
When Gatwick or Heathrow were snow and ice or fog bound
it had a 2 mile take off and landing runway.
That was installed so that the B17 bombers could land in the 1940's
So Manston has a long History
