“Blank Space” is really the song that makes me pay attention to Taylor. When I listened to that song, the first thing comes to my mind is that, “ Wow, this is pretty true about this generation’s relationship status!” We’re in the Information Age, dating and meeting new people are way easier than the old days. It sounds sad but no one is non-replaceable. You can always find someone to fill that blank space.

Last Friday night, I went to the first solo singer concert in my life — Taylor Swift’s concert. If my friend doesn’t have an extra ticket and invited me to fill the blank space:), I wouldn’t have the chance to go. I prefer going to comedian shows than going to pop singers’ concerts. Due to lack of experience, I summarize three points to pay attention when you go to a pop concert.

First, please remember to carry simple items ONLY with you such as cellphone and wallet. I didn’t know we needed to check our bags and they charged $10 per bag CASH ONLY. The worst thing is that there’re 60,000 people and maybe 1/3 of us checked our bags. It took 2 hours to stay in line for just claiming our bags back and the lines got chaotic and messy. I ended up leaving the venue at 1am as the concert finished at 11pm. Lucky thing is that I met a new friend Robert while waiting in line to kill time.

Second, be prepared to stand a lot! Every audience is energetic so everyone stands and jumps. Since my seat was in the back, my eyesight was completely blocked when someone stood in front of me. Girls, prevent wearing high heels as it’s pain in the ass to stand with those shoes for hours. Barefoot is an option but the ground is COLD (thanks to global warming, LA in May is still freaky cold, another topic to write in Steemit ;). Guys, make sure you have good knees to stay up.

Third, here are the tips for efficient parking and restroom lines. To avoid parking in Rose Bowl because it’s so crowded, I parked at a residential street , near Howard street and Mentone Ave, where was 20 mins walkable distance from Rose Bowl. While you’re walking back to your car during late night, make sure you have a few friends walking with you. I felt lucky that my new gay friend Robert and I were helped by a kind policeman Luis who gave us a ride to where I parked at 1am. It’s our first experience sitting in the police car, listening to the rockie talkie, and chit chatting with the police officer. He even praised Lilly is a beautiful name to me and I was flattered:) After all, we’re both safe home and it’s such a wonderful adventure.

Feel free to share your thoughts with me and tell me if you have similar random experiences!!!
