World's cutest panda-shaped solar plant has been connected to the grid in Datong, China. It will have a capacity of 100MW when fully connected, providing 3.2 billion kWh of green electricity in 25 years. The black parts of the panda are comprised of mono c5c320041-3bb8-481e-9ef9-413af82d9f3f-large.pngrystalline silicone solar cells, with the grey and white parts composed of thin film solar cells.
