Just another Monday night?

So I won 5 tickets to Monday comedy at Nomad Bar and Bistro!!!!

I entered a competition to win tickets etc to Nomad Bar & Bistro's Monday comedy nights. I recieved a message that I had won 5 tickets along with the first round of free Savanna's. The catch was that I needed to come with 4 people (The entire party of 5 had to be their to claim the prize.) So I set off to rally the crew.

I managed to get my 4 comrades and we set off on the journey to comedy night. We got their just in the nick of time and we sat down to a bit of laughter and our first Savanna. The night was filled with drinks, tequila and lots of laughter. At the end of the night they had a competition where you had to post a selfie and hashtag "#comedyatnomad" and you could win an extra bar tab. So when the time came the mc's phone had died and he awarded the most involved groups the tabs and we won one of them yeahhhhh!!! See below the photo's we took.

So after the comedy ended we decided to head back home to a local bar to find it closed. Thus we initiated plan B as no one was ready to say good night, and we decided to go to Stean's house to have a few beers and this is where is all went wrong. Being the designated driver I was still fine but the rest of the car's occupants where a bit under the influence and restless on the way back. When we arrived at Dirk's house to drop him off I was met with the reality of how much he had to drink when he just stared at his gate for about 5 minutes hahahaha. Seeing as Stean's car was inside he got quite impatient and said come on man just open the gate to which dirk replied "huh" and the entire car packed out laughing. We eventually got his key and opened the gate for him. Next followed Stean great driving skills as he carefully navigated his car out of Dirk's place and as the last bit came he accelerated a bit toooo fast to find a loud doooofffff sound coming from the wall he had reversed into!! So we all had a big laugh at his failure of a carefully initiated reverse. Luckily no one was hurt except his wallet and we continued to his house to have a quick last night round and reflect on the night of fun. All in a nights work hey, and I must say it was probably the funniest action packed Monday I have had in ages, Thanks for a great night guys!!!
