Movie Marathon: A Night in the Sky

First, let me ask you some questions. How do you deal boredom? How do you deal stress? How you manage your work life balance? Some of us will answer, “I work hard to have extra budget so I can travel and have a quality time with loved ones” or “I deal with my stress by having my shopping time” and some will response “doing our hobbies at home is always the best”. However, what if we can do all of them in one activity, would you grab it and take it as an experience?

Steemitians, let me share you our delightful sky cinema experience in Nuvali Lakeside Grounds, Sta. Rosa, Laguna Last December 3, 2017. Nuvali Sky light cinema’s concept is doing your indoor hobbies in outdoor, where you can watch different variety of movies under the starry starry night with free admission. Movies to be present is depend on the sponsors, luckily the main sponsors that time was the Fox Movies together with Petron, Close up, Mentos, Propan TLC, OLX, Nivea, MagnaVision, and Seda Hotel. All you need to bring is blanket, mat, and snacks then everything will be set (actually, there is also a booth there wherein you can borrow mats).

People go earlier so they can have their best spot before the cinema started.

Showing movies then were my all-time favorite Christmas movie “Home Alone” and the robust movie of last 2017 “Batman vs. Superman”. It was so fun because aside from the outdoor cinema wherein you can have a picnic set up, there were also a live band performances, food and Shopping Bazaar, Giant inflatable for the kids and most esp. it was a pet friendly so we grab the chance to bring our fur baby, Grayham.

As you can see, left stage was for the live band performances, while the big screen on the right was for the cinema.

It was indeed a one of kind experience; it was like doing all our favorite things, like having a quality time with loved ones in a beautiful place, shopping, and doing our hobbies which is the movie marathon in just one night, surreal. They made it extra fun because there was also a cost play for each movie character as part of their attraction. Thanks for this experience; it is nice to know that they provide this kind of event that can help us to unwind and relax even in one night. It is indeed a good experience to all age, from adult to teenage to kids and even to your pets. From the activities they offer, to the ambiance of the fragrance of the night, to the laughter of the crowd that makes everyone excited, best night ever. It was a good bonding for the whole family, or a romantic date for a couple, or exciting activities for kids or a fun night for barkada or whatever you want to call it knowing that you’re not sacrificing a lot from your budget just to have fun.

Don’t worry steemitians, that was not the last time sky cinema event will happen in Nuvali. As far as I know, they conduct that kind of event occasionally, meaning it will happen again just stay tuned to their announcement in NUVALI fb page.

Always remember that having a quality time with our loved ones or unwinding does not mean that we need to spend a lot of money, sometimes all we need to do is to explore and be adventurous. We will be surprised from time to time that there are a lot of activities somewhere that can be equivalent fun with the luxurious trip and vacation. It’s the memories that is important not the calories of the money you spend.
