Waterfall Adventures In Utah
We explored the Upper Falls outside of Salt Lake City, Utah today and decided to do a quick post to share. This photo doesn’t even do it justice, it is massive and so stunning. While this is the view from the bottom and where most individuals view it from, we decided it wasn’t quite good enough for us.
So we crossed the river and to see if we could get a closer look.
Where we came across this very encouraging sign...
The trail was beautiful...
Then we came to the whole steep part they were referring to. They really weren’t kidding either, it was straight up, but we had come so far already! So onward and upward...
We knew we were getting close, the sound of the water was leading us now. Then we entered the clearing, and wow... the hike was totally worth it.
As we made our way back down to the bottom we could see the other tourists taking pictures from below, we were feeling pretty adventurous and glad we made the decision to look for something better.
Sometimes we just have to make the decision to take the unbeaten path, you never know what beauty might await you...
Stunning views @llfarms, but it must be 100 time impressive when you stand in front of this waterfall. I can imagine that sound of falling water and the water drops on the skin, the nature is so beautiful and unique.

Thank you! I wish I could have really captured the beauty as well as the sheer size of the waterfall..it really was breath taking. The mist was very refreshing after that hike as well!
We thankfully made it safely down and have made it to our destination...many more adventures to come though. Thanks again!

♡♡♡Thank you! Yes, Utah always surprises me with the variety of things to do. This is near Herber City, which is not on the normal path. Instead of going through Salt Lake we always decide to take the gorge highway which passes through some stunning locations. It makes the drive a bit more interesting.
Good choice, Salt lake City is kind of antiseptic anyway. Drive safely!

Yes the water was so refreshing and just beautiful! Thank you! Utah is probably one of my favorite states I have been to. It very clean, tons of stuff to do and the people are very nice...they drive like maniacs, but they are nice haha.

How I’d love to dunk my head beneath that falling water instead of being stuck in this 95F weather without AC! At least eyes get to drink in the refreshment. 😍🦋🌿
