ADVENTURES IN PEPPERLAND - VOLUME 1
Yesterday we went for a walk… to look for snakes!
In between chores and projects, @papa-pepper took a few of the @little-peppers for a walk to see who was done hibernating. We went to a nearby rock pile to flip over a few stones by the outside of the pile… just in case some snakes might be hiding underneath.
Monster Truck the Pepper and @papa-pepper had already found a Worm Snake earlier when they were taking care of the hogs, so we knew that more and more snakes were waking up and heading out.
Right away we began to find some! Monster Truck got a young Prairie Kingsnake!
Soon after, Red-Pepper caught a Speckled Kingsnake! @papa-pepper rolls the rock over and makes sure that no scorpions, black widows, or venomous snakes are there, and then calls the @little-peppers over to see what there is.
On that short walk we found three Ringneck Snakes as well, plus the two that we already mentioned.
Later on, Sweet Pepper caught a Gray Tree Frog all by herself!
Then, Monster Truck caught a little skink!
