Exploring Gunung Besar Hantu

Gunung Besar Hantu, the highest mountain in Negeri Sembilan with the high of 1462 meter (4796 feet) located 33 KM away from '' Titi town". This is one and only mountain in Negeri Sembilan as far as I'm consent. You will not be able to apply for permit on the sport at the entrance. This mountain has lots of strange histories and lot of unwanted story.

On that day, A bunch of us went up there for hiking with few professional trainers and few medic teams with us. We also form few groups and have also a sign a leader in each group. Each group contain a walkie talkie to update on our current situation from distance. On our way up we also chop some tree's sticks to support us while we walk up the hills. Therefore we also have lots of rest on the way up to get hydrated.

Incidents that happens at the waterfall

After 3 hour of hiking we have finally reach to the waterfall, all of us was really exited and tired. Our first step was, we did not charge towards the waterfall. We make sure that the weather and surrounding is safe for all of us to enjoy mother's nature. I think this should apply to everyone of you out there, always put safety first in life.

we have lots of fun and jokes while having a shower up there and we also took lots of photo. what about our lunch?? Of course we brought our own lunch up. Before we head up we probably have 1 hour for us to cook our own lunch. After lots of fun we finally have our lunch below the waterfall, it's really cold up there because the water is falling from 4796 feet.

After we had our lunch, most of us continue to chill and enjoy the cold fresh air. All of a sudden, we heard a very loud sound of trees cracking on top of the waterfall. After few second of tree cracking sound, all of a sudden two big rock just come tumbling down and it hit on the other big rock and spread into many pieces coming down towards us.

During the situation, many of us got panic and do not know what to do. The trainer shouted to all of us '' squat and lay our head low '' but unfortunately few of us are very unlucky. Many of our back and hands got hit by the rock and there is two girl who got hit at the head by the rock. After the rock has stop falling few of us rush toward the victim to help. Luckily we brought along first aid box with us, the medic team uses cloth to roll around their head to stop more blood from coming out.

The trainer run up to a point where he can communicate to the other medic team down the guard house through walkie talkie. Thank God the other team receive the message and they rush up as quick as possible with their 4x4 car. After few minute they arrive and we supported the 2 victim up the vehicle, they were rush to hospital.

Good news that there were just in time to be able to get help from the hospital and they had a few stitches on their head. Thank God they are still able to walk and have fun like normal. Trust me i did not make up this story myself. It's base on true life experience.
