Warmer I suppose, but more humid, so sometimes you freeze in the humidity alone. The great Northwest in Washington state up near the Canadian border. We are about 5 miles from the border up at the British Columbia end of things. It is beautiful, although at times the 'gray' that sets in during winter can be a bummer. They jokingly call the western side of the Cascade Mountains, the 'dark side'. On the flip side, during the summer months, it stays light until almost 10:30 at night, and then by 4AM, it's dawn. The first year we lived here, it seemed like daytime went on forever, lol. Have a nice evening/day!
