Hello everyone I would like share to you why you should definitely watch the longest running American reality series in Television which is Survivor. This is my favorite series and is very worth it to watch. So I would like to share to you my review as a die hard fan of the show for 8 years now. I was inspired by @gooddream to make movie reviews

RealiTV Called Survivor
Year 2000, the world was addicted and watched the first release of the show. The show is called"Survivor" and is the American version of the international Survivor reality competition television franchise, itself derived from the Swedish television series Expedition Robinson created by Charlie Parson. The show started on May 2000, airing its first season hosted by Jeff Probst.

The Premise

The show places and introduces a group of strangers from all walks of life in an isolated location, where they must provide food, fire, and shelter for themselves to survive. The contestants compete as a tribe and individually in challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are going to a tribal council in which they will vote someone to go home. The last remaining contestant will win the title of 'Sole Survivor' and a cash prize of $100000.

Why Survivor is so fun to watch?

Survivor has definitely changed the face of television series. The American version has been very successful and there are plenty of reasons why you should it. If we could remember the first season was very successful and has made a big impact to everyone around the world.Survivor became an immediate sensation, and an incredible 51.7 million people watched around the globe as Richard Hatch defeat Kelly Wigglesworth in the very intense finale.

1.Outplay. Outwit.Outlast Theme

The theme of the reality show is to be the last one standing, by outplaying, outlasting and outwitting your opponent. This is definitely a unique and intense one for a television show. Survivor is design to the castaway to be physically, mentally and socially be at your best. It challengers your brain to beat an opponent, like outwitting someone by figuring out the answer to a difficult journey.

2.Survivor is a social experiment-The Socio-Dynamics

"Sixteen strangers [will be] forced to band together, carve out a new existence, totally accountable for their actions—they must learn to adapt or they’ll be voted off.” From that line we can determine how unique the reality game show is compared to everyone. It tests the social aspects and challenges every relationship the castaways developed in order to survive they must vote somebody. This makes Survivor even more fun to watch. The socio dynamics is quite challenging show not only provides us a window into the creation of a new mirco-society, but also asks what happens when a group of strangers must strike a balance between collaboration. This comes the conflict between the social comparison and reflection, especially when it comes to morals and ethics.

3.Jeff Probst is Awesome

Survivor isn't the reality show that everyone loves if it is not for its long time host.No doubt , Jeff Probst as the host of the show changes the dynamics of the reality series around the world. His exceptional and witty. Ultimately this became his trademark.Hosting anything is difficult and challenging but with Jeff everything seems smooth.Jeff Probst knows how to handle both the contestants and the elements and does so with amazing composure and aplomb. Plus his skill at navigating uncomfortable moment makes him so adorable. His hosting skills had led him to several recognition including 3 straight Emmy wins.

4.Interesting Casts

One of the great thing about Survivor is that there is no dull moment and one of the factors that is the great casting. The castaway added great flavor to the show. And throughout the 18 years of the show with more than 600 people tried , there had been pretty remarkable and unforgettable contestants who take part of it. One of the most unforgettable castaways from Survivor history is Jonny Fairlplay. Fairlplay occurred in Season 7, when Jonny “Fairplay” Dalton told what Jeff Probst would later call “the greatest lie in Survivor history.” At a reward challenge where friends and family were brought, he told everyone that his grandmother died to gain sympathy. Other memorable are Russel Hantz, Rob Mariano and many more.

5.Intense Challenges

Survivor is not survivor without having great and intense challenges. Throughout the years, Survivor has brought some of the most difficult and extreme challenges. This element added excitement to the viewers like me who is anticipating who's gonna win. Butmost importantly, win challenges. However, with every challenge lost, the tribe decides who they want to send home—who is the weakest link, or the biggest threat in the games. The challenges are also very diverse like some are design for physical aspects and other portion will test them mentally. Of course Survivor is also known for the gross food challenge.

6.Unpredictability of the Show

Survivor never ran out of twists. The show's intensity rises up every season. When we think we had enough there's more to it. Sometimes we are rooting for someone to win and they didn't. We can’t bring themselves to vote for the more deserving player to win and instead hand a million-dollar checked. The dynamics of the show is getting more hard to predict as it brought new twists and experimental addition.

For 18 years, with 36 seasons so far, the show remains to be one of the most watch and talk about of all time. Survivor was one of the first reality programs that set in motion this fascination with televised human experience that everyone from different walks of life and different age can relate to.
