War : A Pen Picture !

Hello folks !

 So after long time I decided to write a poem that can inspire people to stop fighting for victories and start thinking about our bright future.

War : A Pen Picture !

Death, destruction and carnage

    Loss of life and orphanage

Wailing weeping and wreckage

   Burnt down cities and demolished village

Dead bodies littered everywhere

   Gory scenes, smoke and fire

Muse burials and hasty funerals

   Posthumous awards given to fallen generals

Fathers bury their young ones

   Elders mourn the death of their dear ones

Guns boom bullets whiz and zoom

   Wounded overcrowded in hospital rooms

Scarred days and sleepless nights

   Ground battles and aerial fights

The vehicle of progress comes to halt

   When Industries come under the assault

Worst still is the aftermath of war

   Its effect reaches very far

Let's avoid this dangerous path

   Let's say no to this blood bath

Let's fight against the poverty

   Let's make our people free

Let's stop such victory with no survival

   And treat each and everyone equal

Let's aim our guns at illiteracy

   Let's fight for peace and democracy.

I hope this poem will inspire alot of people .
